Windzup is excited to announce that we will be distributing Twisted Kiteboards, as they launch a radical new design, the Velocity Snowkite Board. Twisted is another Rob Whittal project and looks to be a successful compliment to his Ozone Snowkite creations. Here's what he has to say:
Rob Whittall - “We have developed a specialized board for the dedicated Snowkiter, designed specifically for the rigors of Snowkiting. This unique design incorporates many new features, which allow the board to ride and feel smoother on the snow. Delivering a feeling that is closer to Kitesurfing, less fatiguing than a traditional snowboard, and allowing the rider to enjoy the Snowkiting experience even more.”

Hi everyone,
During january 26th & 27th, the kite school in Cortina d’Ampezzo KITE 4 FREEDOM (www.kite4freedom.it)
organized an event, the first issue. An event powered by Ozone Italia, Stefano Gigli, Sportfun (www.sportfun.it).
The spot was Passo Giau, 20 mn above Cortina, in the wild wide Dolomiti.
No contest, no stress, only friendly meeting with around 20 kiters, mainly italian guys. On saturday the wind was light but enough for cruising all the day. A seven hours session, all around the Passo Giau. Later in the evening, all the crew moved to Lago Misurina for a local style dinner. Then it was the Kite 4 Freedom party in the famous resort Cortina d’Ampezzo, at the Cristallino pub. Big party, after a so long day snowiting. On sunday, unfortunately a north-wind storm came and even broke some pine trees around. So the event was cancelled, a pitty for all the kiters and spectators here, who came only on this shinny sunday. For the first issue, it was a success, huge congratulations to Michele Ali’ (Kite 4 Freedom) and Stefano, Ozone Italia distributor. Chasta and me, we’ll never forget the Italian friendships, so cool feeling here. We’ll be back next year!
Hi. Boulguy and me
have been invited by Stefano, Ozone distributor in Itala, so we arrived yesterday in Cortina d’Ampezzo. We started from france at 5h00 am… Venice, Marco Polo
at 10h30. Cortina Impero Hotel at 12h00. We took all the snowkiting stuff and went straight with Michele Ali’ to Paso Giau, the main snowkiting spot. Michele is the chief instructor of the Kite 4
Freedom snowkite school (www.kite4freedom.com). Nice weather, blue sky with some clouds crossing fast and a gusty strong north wind. It was just a short warm-up and we discovered this nice new
snowkiting spot. The mountains here are really nice designed. I would like to stop everything, sit and draw each of them ! Well, here is a short video movie about this first session. Next ones
coming soon. On saturday, Michele organizes a snowkiting event here. Big actions to come.
See the first Paso Giau Video Movie
Nice ?
Cheers.
