hello everybody,
well this is why we love this area in French Polynesia, the trade wind is just perfect for kiting, you can easily reach many different island by boat or by plane, then you'll have so much choice for your style of riding. Once again the lagoon is enormous with many things to ride on the way like ,super flat water, jump over rocks or coconut trees , riding around small motu (island) with perfect white sand beaches and you can aslo ride with sharks, i tell you they are faster than you. sometimes when you ride near the outside reef you can also see some whales jumping , that's just amazing to see.
so since two days the wind got lighter and between the garden, my tomatos i got time to finish this video with some of the waves we can ride. as you can we still riding with our small board, because most of the time those spots are reachable only if you jump over the reef, so you can imagine with a surf board , you'll loose some fins before you ride it.
tomorrow the wind shoold come back for my 9m edge , i hope. that's what Mr windguru said, so it's freestyle time again, yepaaaaaaaaaaaaa
bon vent

Hi everyone,
The OSKM 08 is over and we are back to normal whatever normal means
It was an amazing week for all those attending, the conditions could not have been better and the event had a great positive energy flowing from everyone. We managed to run all the planned Competition formats even though we lost the 1st day due to 60 knot winds! The freestyle heats on the Sunday were blessed with 20-25 knots which giving the riders dream conditions on their small 7-9m kites.
The race on Monday happened in very light winds but was still fun for everyone – at least that’s what it looked like with so many kites filling the sky. The race was over a long course and varying terrain which made it a very tactical race with the riders needing to really use the terrain to get ahead and move up the places in the difficult yet challenging conditions. Everyone agreed the race format has a great future and we may even throw in some gates where riders must jump next year.
Tuesday for all of the riders was the best day, with a perfect 15 knots north-easterly we ran the Worlds 1st “Best-Line Comp”. The wind direction was spot on for us to climb the mountain up the narrow chutes beside the glacier. Almost everyone made it to the top and back within the 30min race time which was a 1000m difference in altitude with steep slopes up to 35 degrees steep.
The prize giving on Tuesday night in the local ski resort Pontresina was a fitting end to an amazing week! Dj Jaz & Jaggae pulled out all the stops and had everyone on the dancefloor giving it their all.
Hi
Here is a tale about the old ski-lift, out of order, in a closed ski-resort. Closed for few years already. The story shows that a new kind of ski-lift is born. Working as a “worldwide season
pass”. Let’s check it out in the video-movie below, starring Guillaume Chastagnol. Yes, the things change…
Thanks guys, and have fun with your kite.
